Joint Statement on Illegal Abduction and False Incarceration of Activist Priyanshu Kashyap Under theBogus Lucknow Conspiracy Case

Priyanshu Kashyap, a former student of history at Delhi University, will complete 100 days in unlawful imprisonment on the 4th of November under the Lucknow conspiracy case.
As a student at Delhi University, Priyanshu was a member of Bhagat Singh Chatra Ekta Manch and was involved in student activism, fighting against fee hikes, paper leaks, and advocating for a democratic and equitable campus. He also raised concerns for the oppressed and exploited masses of the country.
Being an activist from an Adivasi background belonging to the Bastar region, he has always stood for the rights of students, workers, and oppressed sections of society. After completing his master's in history, he worked with the Delhi General Mazdoor Front (DGMF), a labour rights organisation based in New Delhi.
Priyanshu was picked up by the Haryana Crime Investigation Agency
(CIA) around 26-27th of July, 2025 from Hissar, Haryana. For about three days, no information about the whereabouts of Priyanshu was given to his friends and family….
