Dalit assistant professor Dr. Ravi has allegedly faced caste discrimination after the principal at SV Veterinary University’s Dairy Technology College in Andhra Pradesh removed the chair from his office, forcing him to work while sitting on the floor.

He alleged that he was on leave on Thursday, and when he returned to the college on Friday and went to his room, he found that there was no chair.

Associate Dean Ravindra Reddy, who had come to test the milk in the existing device, had removed the chair from his room….
