Delhi University: Students Protesting RSS Event at Ambedkar College Assaulted, Detained

Students of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, University of Delhi, who protested against an event organised by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Monday, were allegedly assaulted by security guards and detained by Delhi Police. The protest was against an event titled “Service, organization, culture and the role of youth in a developed India,” held under the banner of the RSS at the college auditorium.

Videos of the incident show protesters, including a woman student, raising slogans of “RSS go back,” being beaten by event organisers before being taken away by security guards. Four of the students are currently at Jyotinagar police station.
