JNUSU Protests Demanding Access to Academic Journals

The Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union protested on Tuesday outside the university’s Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Central Library, demanding access to academic journals as scholars are “facing difficulties in conducting their research”.

“Since April this year, students have had no access to academic journals or digital libraries such as JSTOR. We now follow the One Nation, One Subscription (ONOS) policy under which students get access to all journals. But several journals are not part of ONOS, and this is impacting scholars,” said JNUSU president Nitish Kumar…
