Student Leader Talha Mannan Booked for Pro-Palestine Slogans During AMU Protest

Student leader and former student of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Talha Mannan, along with 8–10 unidentified students, has been booked for allegedly raising pro-Palestine slogans during student protests at AMU against the recent fee hike and in support of restoring the Students’ Union.

According to a complaint filed on Monday by Hindu Raksha Dal district president Sanjay Arya, one video showed Talha Mannan and others carrying a Palestinian flag and raising pro-Palestine slogans, which he claimed “threatened social peace and harmony in the city.”…
