'Connect with Indian culture': Uttarakhand Plans Ramayana, Mahabharata in Curriculum; State to Review Impact on Students

Uttarakhand govt is set to introduce stories from Ramayana and Mahabharata in school curriculum from the next academic session. This comes after the recitation of Gita verses were started in state-run schools on July 14 this year.
Incidentally, a message was posted by CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on social media on Sunday stating that "mandatory recitation of Gita verses in schools is helping students connect with Indian culture, moral values and philosophy of life." Then on Monday, the state education department passed an order, a copy of which is with Tol, to "review the activities held by each school in this regard and their positive impact on students"…
