Kerala: Complaint Alleges Muslim Children Denied Admission, Headmistress Said ‘Muslims Not Allowed’

A complaint has been raised alleging that Muslim children were denied admission to an aided school in Kerala's Kollam district, with the headmistress reportedly stating that “Muslims are not allowed in this school.” The complaint is against the headmistress of Dr C.T. Eapen Memorial RHS School in Sasthamkotta, MediaOne TV reported.

“Muslims are not allowed in this school... children who come dressed in white clothing will not be admitted,” the headmistress allegedly told parents and students, according to the complaint. Around 30 students, including some from a dars (Islamic learning centre) in Chakkuvalli, reportedly sought admission to the school…
